(nee Machajewski) Born To Eternal Life on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved wife and best friend for 48 years to the late Harlan Vaught. Loving mother of Cheryl Vaught, Donn (Karen) Vaught, Juliann (Dan) Marchel and Kenneth (Kim) Vaught. Dear grandmother of Lisa, Michelle, Angela, Jason, Jacob, and Zackary. Dear great-geat grandmother of Mercedes, Cyber, Remy, Noah, Molly, Elliot, Aaron, Lydia and Emrick. Sister of Paul (Mary) Machajewski, Neil Machajewski, the late Gloria (the late Bob) Scullin. Further survived by other relatives, neighbors and friends.

Gladys was a gardener who took great pride in what she grew. She was a very giving person who offered help anywhere she could. Gladys retired from Milwaukee Public Schools after over 30 years of service as a Handicapped Childrens Assistant. Gladys was a "Modern Day St. Francis" and rescued and cared for countless animals over the years.

Visitation SUNDAY, July 21, 2024 from 3-5 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service at 5 PM.
