(nee Paprocki) Entered into the fullness of eternal life on Saturday, December 6, 2025, aged 95 years. Born October 19th, 1930, to Katherine and Stanley Paprocki in Milwaukee, WI, Gladys was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donald Haight, and precious daughter Mary Beth Haight, as well as her parents and her five elder siblings. Most beloved and caring mother of Thomas Haight, Sr. (Debbie), David Haight (Joyce McCready), Jo Ann Busalacchi (Mark), and John Haight (Rhonda). Loving grandmother of Elizabeth Haight, Jacquelyn Wildstar Haight, Thomas Haight, Jr. (Amanda), Eric Haight (Emily), Karen Seagle (Duncan), Kathleen Haight (Matt Cohen), Kendra Haight (Joe Triana), Robert Busalacchi (Mackenzie), Donald Busalacchi (Katie) and Katherine Porwoll (Patrick). Gladys was also great-grandmother to Celeste Seagle, Lydia Seagle, James Haight, Eleanor Haight, Madison Haight, Amelia Busalacchi, and Theodore Busalacchi. Gladys will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.Gladys was a loving, fun, tenacious and funny person who cherished family connections and spending time together with those she loved.
Gladys and her late husband Don founded Gladon Company, which manufactured and sold products to the swimming pool industry. Their products were sold throughout the United States and foreign countries. Gladon Co. was sold and has since moved operations to St. Louis and continues to produce products under the Gladon name.
Gladys was a lifelong member of the St. Veronica's church congregation, where she treasured her connections to God, the Catholic church, her community and her family.
Gladys and Don also took joy in vacationing in Arbor Vitae, WI, where Gladys' family roots helped her remain close with extended family including her cousins, nieces and nephews. The family gives sincere thanks to her doctors, nurses and staff at St. Luke's Hospital and Hales Corners Care Center for providing her care and comfort.
Visitation on Friday, December 19, 2025, 9:00-10:45 AM at St. Veronica Church, 4001 S.Whitnall Ave., Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
