Born into Eternal Life on May 11, 2012 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Shirley "Shirl" (nee Giedt) for over 59 years. Loving father of Cynthia Szabrowicz and John G. Wozniak. Dear grandfather of Daniel and Joel Szabrowicz. Brother-in-law of Arlene (the late Robert) Giedt. Dear uncle of Joyce (Rich) Gorny, Arlene Bernett and family, Dennis, Patty and Brian Wozniak, and Jeff, Natalie and Greg Giedt. Gil proudly served his country in the US Coast Guard and the US Army during the Korean War. As a motorcycle enthusiast, Gil was a founding member and president of the WI BMW Club, past member of the International Council, past president of the BMWRA Club and member of BMWMOA. Memorial visitation will be held at THE CHURCH OF ST. AUGUSTINE OF HIPPO, 2530 S. Howell Ave. on Friday May 18th from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon with military honors to follow. Private interment.
