Geraldine "Gerry" Virgili Joined her daughter, Nancy, in Heaven on Tuesday August 10, 2021 at age 92. Loving wife of Robert "Bob" Virgili. Cherished mom of Barbara Sloan, Jim Virgili, Jo Ann (Mark) Flaig, Jan (Paul) Grant, and the late Nancy (Jimi) Sellars. Beloved grandma of Jack (Sarah) Sloan, Tom (Katie) Sloan, Michael (Neha) Sloan, Tony Virgili, Steven Flaig, and Angela Flaig. Dear great grandma of Emily, Olivia, Penny, and Harper Sloan. First and foremost, Mom enjoyed spending time with her family, often hosting holidays and special occasions with full homemade Italian feasts and desserts. Over the years she enjoyed road trips and restaurants with Bob, excelled at many different crafts, tended to a wonderful garden, and learned how to prepare almost anything that can be made with peaches. She loved to play golf, have lunch with her golf buddies, work puzzles, and take long walks. Gerry was very proud of her 25 years as a remittance processor at First Wisconsin/US Bank. Gerry was very sweet, witty, kind to everyone, selfless, and thankful. Although with you only a short time, a special thank you to Allyson and the employees and residents of Autumn Leaves Memory Care for treating Gerry like family.
