Geraldine A Stone (nee Thien)

July 26, 2024 Age 96. Beloved wife of I David Stone. Loving mother of Holly Bieniewski and Laure DeWerd, grandmother of Mikhail Chalecki. Proud aunt to Michael Fishtein.

In addition to raising a family, Geri was an exceptional performing artist whose career as a professional pianist spanned over 75 years. She was a prolific artist and entertainer on the Milwaukee music and theater scene. Although she was a classically trained musician, her talents for pop, jazz and theater works made her a highly respected and sought after accompanist and performer.

A devout Lutheran, she also played organ and piano for Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Home, Harwood Place, Marquette Univ. and other churches and choirs for many years.

Services were held on July 31 at Forest Home Cemetery, where she is resting peacefully in harmony with the grace of God. In Love and Light.
