Verhein, Gerald J. "Jerry" Born to eternal life on Sunday, December 11, 2005, age 74 years. Beloved husband for 51 years of Mary Jane (nee Rybacki). Loving father of Thomas (Donna) and Debra Karaszewski. Proud grandpa of Nicholas and Ashley Verhein; James "Jamie" and Tara Karaszewski. Dear brother of Wayne (the late Geraldine) Verhein, Patricia (the late James) Czerwinski and August (Judy) Verhein. Preceded in death by his brothers, Russell, Richard (Shirley) and Kenneth Verhein and sister, Barbara (Paul) LaSavage. Brother-in-law of Beverly and Mildred Verhein. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home WED 4-8 PM, prayer service at 6 PM. Funeral THUR 9:15 AM from the Funeral Home to ST. MATTHEW CATHOLIC CHURCH, Oak Creek, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment and military honors at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Jerry was a salesman with Ace Worldwide Moving and Storage for 49 years, past president of the Milwaukee Transportation Club and member of the Milwaukee Traffic Club. He also was an avid bowler with the Milwaukee Traffic/Transportation Club, and an avid poker player, a U.S. Army veteran, member of Oelschlaeger-Dallmann Post 434, American Legion-Oak Creek, former and active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and longtime member of St. Matthew Church.
