Schaefer, Gerald A. Passed from this world to eternal life on November 28, 2010 at the age of 94. Born to George and Terese Schaefer on July 16, 1916 in Milwaukee WI. Beloved husband of the late Sue (nee Szada). Loving father of Laurie (Al) Smukowski, Kathy (Dick) Dale, and Bob (Marie). Loving grandfather of Cindi, Mark, Beth, Chad, Dan, Michael, Lisa, Kate, Danny and great grand father of Kevin, Bryan, Sam, Ty, Alex, Andrew, Ethan, and Isaac. Special long time friend of Joyce Schramm. Dear brother of Fred (Jean). Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and brother George. Gerald retired from Allis Chalmers and was a member of the St. Joseph Benevolent Society. Gerald was well known for his master craftsmanship in woodworking. Visitation Thursday, December 2, 2010, 10 AM-12 NOON at ST. AUGUSTINE OF HIPPO CHURCH, 2530 So. Howell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 NOON. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
