Proft, Gerald P. "Jerry" "N9NGI" Sunday, November 24, 2013. Age 66 years. Beloved wife for 29 years of Gail (nee Spinelli). Loving father of Paul (Jennifer), Peter (Jennifer), Amy Remmel, Brendon (Lisa) Remmel and Christina Proft. Cherished grandfather of Victor, Joseph, Natalie, Douglas, Khloe, Ryleigh, Alyssa, Mikaila, Cole and Angelo. Cherished son of George and the late Audrey. Dear brother of Edd (Lawana), Mary (Steve) Wallace and Barbara (Daniel) Post. Jerry is further survived by other family members, friends and his faithful companion and best friend Cloedy. Jerry was a 1966 graduate of Custer High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Whetstone. He was a retiree of Milwaukee County working his entire career at the airport as a HVAC Mechanic. Jerry loved the time he spent in Wausaukee, the friends he made there, fishing, camping, amateur radio, tinkering and rebuilding motorcycles, tractors and small engines.
