Gerald Joseph Kuske, 83, of West Allis, WI, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026. Born on December 10, 1942, in Milwaukee, Gerald lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service to others.

A devoted husband to his beloved wife, Kathleen (nee Szurma), for an extraordinary 59 years, Gerald was a loving father to Michelle (Shane) Riley and Tammy (Chad) Luttrell. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to his cherished grandchildren: Derek (Katie), Joey (Nikki), Austin, Brandon, Brady, Alexis, and Caera. Gerald was also a proud great-grandfather to Noelle, Aubrey, and Jay.

Gerald dedicated over 36 years of his life to the Allen-Bradley Company, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served honorably during the Vietnam War.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gerald was a man of many passions. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing softball, and he shared his love of sports by coaching girls and boys basketball at St. Aloysius School in West Allis for more than 35 years. In his retirement, he continued to give back to the community by refereeing volleyball and basketball and umpiring softball games. Gerald also adored traveling and relished every meal shared with family and friends, always treasuring the moments spent together.

Gerald is survived by his sister Shirley (the late James) Knuth and the late James (Gabrielle) Kuske as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends, all of whom will miss his kind spirit dearly.
