George was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the 90th Field Artillery and a member of their Association for the last 15 years. He was happily retired for 20 years from the Ladish Co. and enjoyed spending time with his family in St. Francis and Hidden Springs Lake, Neshkoro, WI. George enjoyed taking care of God's creatures, boating and woodworking.
