Of Oak Creek, found eternal peace on Friday, February 23, 2007, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Kaluzny), Loving father of Michael Pawlak of Oak Creek, Michelle (Steven) Bania of New Berlin, and Steven (Patti) Pawlak of Milwaukee. Survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Leonard, Jerome (Diane), Daniel (Helen) and sisters Evelyn (the late Raymond) Goossens and Margaret (Frank) Parks. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. George was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea with 151st Combat Engineers Battalion. Was a member and officer of the Gold Star Post No. 505, American Legion. He retired from the Heil Company in Milwaukee and served as the President of his local union. George was an avid golfer, enjoyed bingo and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Most friends and family will remember George as the #1 UW-Badger Fan. He had season football tickets since 1950 and will be missed on football Saturday's at Camp Randall. The family would like to thank the staff of Brookfield Gardens Assisted Living Center for the wonderful, loving care you gave George during this past year.
