George was a lifelong art teacher in the West AllisWest Milwaukee school district and after retirement continued to teach art classes for many years. As a prolific artist, George worked in all mediums and continued to make art until his last days. He was a very spiritual and devoted member of the North Shore Presbyterian Church where he helped to establish and curate an art gallery. He was a part of many charities and humanitarian organizations. George lived each day with zeal and a passion for life, valuing each and every connection he made with people. He traveled the world and enjoyed immersing himself in the culture of the places he visited. The family would like to thank George's special friend Matsu, the doctors and nurses of the 4NW floor at Froedtert Hospital and Aurora At Home Zilber Family Hospice for the care and compassion they showed George during his time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorials to North Shore Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
