Bratel, George Jr. "Gabby" Found peace on Saturday, November 27, 2004, age 81 years. Dearest brother of Dora Stiglich, Peter Bratel, Martha Taylor and Anne Wenger. Dear brother-in-law of Edwin "Mahoney" Cisczewski. Preceded in death by his brothers-Nicholas and John Bratel and sister-Helen Cisczewski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home TUE 4-7:15 PM. Funeral Service at 7:15 PM. Interment and military honors, WED 10 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery (Please meet at cemetery office). George was a retiree of Ladish Co., World War II Army veteran serving in northern France at the invasion of Normandy, received the Purple Heart and a Good Conduct Medal and was a member of Amvets No. 14.
