Obituary

Bratel, George Jr. "Gabby" Found peace on Saturday, November 27, 2004, age 81 years. Dearest brother of Dora Stiglich, Peter Bratel, Martha Taylor and Anne Wenger. Dear brother-in-law of Edwin "Mahoney" Cisczewski. Preceded in death by his brothers-Nicholas and John Bratel and sister-Helen Cisczewski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home TUE 4-7:15 PM. Funeral Service at 7:15 PM. Interment and military honors, WED 10 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery (Please meet at cemetery office). George was a retiree of Ladish Co., World War II Army veteran serving in northern France at the invasion of Normandy, received the Purple Heart and a Good Conduct Medal and was a member of Amvets No. 14. He also ran the Club Garibaldi from the mid 60's to the early 70's. The family wishes to thank dear friend Donny for your companionship with "Gabby" In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
