George J. Brzozowski Born to Eternal Life on December 2, 2017, 90 years old. His beloved wife of 71 years, Lorraine (nee Franckowiak) preceded him in death by 1 week. He was born on July 15, 1927, in Pulaski, WI the 8th of 9 children born to Anton and Mary Brzozowski who preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Walter, Stanley, Frank and David and 4 sisters, Gertrude, Estelle, Regina and Dorothy. Also preceded in death by son-in-law George Farnsworth. He is survived by his 4 children, Cathryn (Robert) Wessolowski, Christine (Richard) Kras, Kenneth (Joanne) Brzozowski, Mary Ellen (Robert) Strieter, 7 Grandchildren, Sandra (Jonathan) Thames, Laura (Jarod) Packard, Colleen Brzozowski, Claudia (Jeremy) Demers, Jeffrey Brzozowski, Philip (Sarah) Stepanski, and Erin (Nick) Gamache. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla Thames, Austin and Samantha Schlechta, Alexa and Eddie Brzozowski, Nathan and Ryan Stepanski, and Abigail and Caleb Gamache. Special step-grandfather to Sean (Heather) Kras and Peter (Michelle) Kras and their families. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
George was a soul that was full of kindness. He was a skillful man, a family man and a model of clean and honest living. That model will live on through the souls of his family and his spirit will walk with anyone whose life he touched. He was known and respected by many.
George was a welder, employed by the Milwaukee County Parks Service Department for 35 years. He served as a Sea Bee in the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Milwaukee for 35 years where he served as usher and Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Holy Name Society. He generously volunteered his talents and his time to the parish. He was currently a member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish in West Bend, WI.
Visitation Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 10AM - 12 Noon at St. Frances Cabrini, 1025 S. 7th Ave. West Bend. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Private entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
