Passed away peacefully in his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 27, 2004 at the age of 76. Born November 17, 1927 in South Bend, Indiana and preceded in death by parents Harry and Christine (Bargielski). George married Eleanor Horinchuk on Feb. 21,1950 in South Bend, Indiana. George is survived by his beloved son Brad, treasured daughter-in law Julie and cherished granddaughter Kristina of Sacramento, California. ''Georgie'' is also survived by cousins Robert Szlanfucht and Barbara Szymanski both of South Bend, Indiana, Andrew Kaczmarek of Plainfield, Illinois, James Kaczmarek of Fountain Valley, California and Margaret Martsolf of Glendale, Arizona. Survived by many groups of close friends with common interests such as sports, poker, dog races, music, politics and traveling. George was a huge fan of baseball and football with his favorite teams being Notre Dame, Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. His favorite players were Ted Williams and Brett Farve. He was a huge fan of Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe. George graduated from Howe Military Academy in Indiana and served in the Army Air Corps. He lived the beginning of his life in South Bend, the middle of his life in Chicago, and the last 30+ years in Milwaukee. He had a distinguished career as an insurance claims adjustor and worked for the Hartford Insurance Company and retired from CNA Insurance Company in Milwaukee.
