Genevieve "Jean" M. Larsen (nee Ulrich)

Beloved wife to the late Morris Larsen. Loving mother to Margie (Steve) Ulrich, Ruth (Guy) Bohlman, Jennifer (Mark) Zakrzewski, and Greg (Patricia) Larsen. Cherished grandmother of Cherie (Chris) Jones, Steve (Amy) Ulrich, Ben Ulrich, Sarah (Matt) Palubicki, Ethan (Jennifer) Zakrzewski, Heidi (Cameron) Bardele, Hannah (Jordan) Arsnow, Josh (Melissa) Bohlman, Jakob Bohlman, and Elizabeth (Lucas) Denney. Further survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jean was very active at her church St. Charles Borromeo and sang in the choir for over 20 years. She was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. Jean loved her family and spent a great deal of time with her children, grandchildren, and other family members. She never ceased to make family traditions and holidays special for everyone -- her presence at family events was truly magical. Jean was an extremely kind and compassionate person. She dedicated herself to her family and her patients throughout her career as a nurse.

Throughout 62 years of marriage, Jean was devoted to her husband Morris, especially towards the end of his life, taking great care of him when he needed it most. Many would attest that Jean had a "funny bone". She always saw the good in life and people, making an effort to keep friends and family happy and made to feel special. She exemplified what it meant to be a servant to the Lord. Facing many trials through life, she was always able to brush things off that many would find difficult to get over.

Jean was lucky enough to live independently for most of her life until the last four months after illness brought her into her daughter's home to be taken care of. After a brief stay at Zilber Hospice, she was born to eternal life. Jean's life will be cherished and she will be deeply missed by many.

Visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 3100 West Parnell Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53221 on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery 4141 South 27th Street, Greenfield, WI 53221. If desired, memorial donations in Jean's honor can be made to Almost Home Cat Rescue.
