It is with sadness we announce the passing of Georgina Marie Cupertino, a vibrant spirit born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Georgina, affectionately known as Gena, departed this world on May 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, creativity, and joy.
Gena was a devoted wife and soulmate to Jeff Reichartz for 28 wonderful years. Together, they created a household filled with laughter and warmth, embodying the essence of partnership. As a loving mother to Nathan, Aiden and the late Eion, she cherished every moment spent outdoors, embracing life with her boys.
Her artistic soul found expression in countless ways-through her passion for arts and crafts, sewing, drawing, and painting. Gena's great imagination and creativity flourished in her beloved gardens, where she cultivated not only flowers but a sense of wonder and beauty that touched everyone around her. An exceptional cook, she delighted her family and friends with her culinary creations, combining flavors with love, just as she did with every aspect of her life. Her love of reading was very evident as Gena was frequently found with her nose in a book.
Gena's life was intertwined with deep familial bonds. She was a loving sister to Tom (Theresa) and Danielle (Nick Paladino) Kirby, and she holds a cherished place in the hearts of her late brother Eddie (Carrie) Kirby. As a treasured aunt, she was a source of inspiration and affection to Alec (Ashley), Joshua (Jenny), Nick (Olivia), Nicole, Katie, Taylor, Lindsay, Kyle, Lexie, Gianna, and Angelina. Over the years Gena's love of her cherished dogs, Charlie, Freya and Hannah, did not go unnoticed. Her warmth and creativity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorial Visitation at Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home, Bay View Chapel, 3275 S. Howell Ave. on Friday, May 29, 2026, 10:00am-12Noon. A Time of Sharing will take place at 12 Noon. In loving memory of Georgina, we invite family and friends to come together to honor her legacy, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful life she led. Her imagination, creativity, and love will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her.
