Shaffer, Gary. Passed away January 21, 2025 at the age of 82. Loving husband of Theresa (nee Los) for 60 years. Proud father of Laura (Brian) Hicks and Andrew (Vida) Shaffer. Cherished grandpa of Jason, Joey and Michael. Son of the late Stanley and the late Ruby (nee Woodruff) Shaffer. Brother of Connie (Tom) Knolles and the late Richard Shaffer. Brother-in-law of Margaret Link. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 5PM to 8PM. Celebration of Life to follow, at 8PM. Private interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Gary grew up in the small town of Lovelton, Pennsylvania. He was a proud Navy veteran, having served on the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal. After his time in the Navy, he made a career at Allen Bradley, having retired after 34 years there. Gary loved his garden and crafting canes and walking sticks that he sold at farmers markets in the area.
