Found peace on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 age 67. Loving husband for 46 years of Barbara (nee Oppermann) Schrot. Beloved dad of Michael (Mike Mukite) Schrot, Heather (Paul) Schultz, and Eric (Mae-Lynn Orlando) Schrot. Cherished "Papa-Moose" of Lexi, Anna, Alex, and Matthias. Dear son of Patricia and the late Ronald Schrot. Further survived by many other family members, friends, his furbaby-grandchildren; Issey, Bubbies, Winnie, Rocky, and Tucker. Gary was a United States Navy veteran. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking. Gary also loved to spend time in his garden. He will be dearly missed! Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home THURSDAY, June 17, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M. followed by military honors. Private inurnment Arlington Park Cemetery.
