Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the age of 68, Gary Egide passed peacefully at the Zilber Hospice Center. Beloved son of the late Russell and Ethel Egide (nee Manske), dear friend of Christine Biersack and the late David Klumpyan. Further survived by many friends. Gary conquered many obstacles in his life with Cerebral Palsy. Those of us who knew Gary appreciated and were touched by his sense of humor, wit and intellect. He will be missed dearly. Gary worked as an information specialist for the federal government. He also was a volunteer for the American Veteran's Association for many years. He received exceptional honors for more than 15, 000 hours of volunteer service at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Gathering will be at the Funeral Home, Friday, May 11th, 9:30 10:30 A.M. Memorial Services at 10:30 A.M. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park. Many thanks to Gary's caregiver Jenny Miller.
