Gabriella "Gaby" Cartagena

Was taken from us too soon on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, aged 24 years. Loving mother to Anaya. Cherished daughter of Denise Reed and the late Alfonso Cartagena. Beloved baby sister of Kenny (Jackie), Chino (Brianna), Chuchu (Madeline), and Anecio. Further survived by one niece, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Darlene.

Gaby will always be remembered as great daughter and a fantastic mother. She was loud, energetic, and funny. She had an unforgettable smile and laugh that always lit up the room. Gaby was "one of the guys." She was tough on the outside, but had a gentle soul on the inside. Gaby loved the outdoors, going to the beach, having bonfires, cookouts, making memories with her family, and simply loved life. She enjoyed cooking meals, although her skills in the kitchen were questionable. She had a competitive nature to her, especially when it came to playing cornhole. Gaby's favorite moments in life were the simple and precious times she spent with her family. For those who knew Gaby, these moments won't be the same without her, and she will be deeply missed. Forever 24.

There will be a Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 PM. If desired, memorial donations can be made directly to the family.
