On Friday, June 15, 2018 after 91 remarkable years Frederick Murphy moved on to the next phase of his journey, where there will be more students to teach, plants to grow and people who loved and have been waiting to see him again. He is the beloved husband and best friend for 72 years of his childhood sweetheart Gloria (nee Huston). Loving dad of Lauren Murphy Payne (Scott Kloepfel) and the late Lisa Murphy. Frederick was a U.S. Army Veteran proudly serving his country during WWII. He spent his entire professional career at Cudahy High School teaching Chemistry and Advanced Biology. Frederick also started the Track and Cross Country program at Cudahy High School. He was an avid Civil War buff and was a longtime member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
