Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, July 1, 2023 after 88 years of preparation on this Earth as a faith-filled Catholic Christian. Fred is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara (nee Polewski); five children: Peter (Cindy), Catherine (Richard) Powers, Paul (Kelly), Mark (Ellen), and Matthew; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Fr. David. Fred is further survived by three brothers: John, Donald, and Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Gertrude, and his brother, James.

Fred was a Professional Civil Engineer, and spent his entire career at the MMSD retiring as Director of Construction.

Services will be at Divine Mercy Parish, 800 Marquette Ave., in South Milwaukee, on Saturday, July 8, 2023, with visitation from 9:30AM to 11:15AM and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM.
