Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday November

24, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend for 68 years of Patricia Martinez (Nee

Schultz). Loving Dad of the late John (Juile) Martinez, Chris (Brandi) Martinez and

Thomas (Ligia) Martinez. Cherished grandpa of Alec (Kathleen), Kirsti (Anthony), Jessica

(John), Nicole and Jason. Dear great grandpa to Rylie. Brother of Roland (Cindy) and

Adela. Drear brother-in-law of Sandra (Robert). Preceded in death by siblings Robert

(Nancy), Maxine, Mary Janet, Harvey (Pat) and Mary Lou as well as siblings-in-law

Richard (Pearl), John, Rodney (Esther), Shirley (Gil), Jackie (Don), Carol (Don) and Alice

Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He spent his last 4 months basking in the warm sun of Idaho. Enjoying the mountains,

rivers and clear blue skies. His bright smile, kind heart, compassion and immense

generosity to all will be greatly missed. A Marine who proudly served in the Korean

War and wore his Marine cap with honor everywhere he went. A very special thank you

to the Veterans Hospital of Boise for their tireless care. As well as extreme gratitude to

the gentle and loving care from Blue Bird Hospice.

Visitation at the Funeral Home Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 9:30AM-11:30AM, with a Service at 11:30AM.

Entombment to follow Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
