Frank Jumbeck
passed away peacefully in his home on January 17th , 2025 at the age of 93.
He was born on July 29th , 1931 in Winona, MN. He relocated to Manitowoc, WI before settling in Milwaukee and attending South Division High School. He met his beautiful wife, Doris, in 1950. They went on to be married for 55 years; sharing a life full of memories including raising three wonderful children, creating multiple side businesses and taking over 115 trips to Las Vegas.
Frank served in the US Army as a helicopter mechanic in Korea before coming home to work as a printing pressman for over 40 years.
He excelled at many competitive sports including golf, bowling, dartball and horseshoes (which he played competitively until age 87). Perhaps his greatest skill was his ability to make people laugh and find the humor in any situation, which he maintained throughout the final days of life.
He was proceeded in death by almost everyone he knew. Notably, his wife (Doris), Mother (Florence), Father (Frank), and Brother (George).
He is survived by his children Steven, Kathryn (Rick) Parker and Scott (Tracy). He is also survived by his grandchildren Andrew (Nikki), Alyssa, Caleb and Josh; and his great-grandchildren, Luke and Rosie. He will be missed by many others.
Visitation on Thursday. January 23, 2025, 9:30-11:00 AM, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3000 W. Parnell Avenue, Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment and military honors to follow at Arlinton Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Hospital for Children are appreciated.
