Elliott, Frances (nee Carey). Found peace on September 4, 2023 at the age of 90. Loving wife of the late Willard Elliott. Cherished mother of Thomas (Vicky) Elliott, Patricia (Alain) Alajajian, Jean (Al) Murawski, Joe (Kathy) Elliott, Linda Muza, Kathy Chiaverotti. Beloved grandmother of ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Friday, September 29th, 2023 at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7219 S. 27th St., from 9:30AM to 11AM. Mass of Christian Burial to follow, at 11AM. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

In addition to raising a large and loving family, Fran had a long and productive career advocating for the citizens of Milwaukee. She began working for the Lung Association, then for coordinating volunteers for the Milwaukee Public Library system as well as St. Mary's Hospital. She was the president of the MATC school board, and was instrumental in founding Harambee Community school on Milwaukee's North Side.
