Entered her Eternal Reward on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Age 90 years. Cherished sister of Ann (Walter) Clemins and Lucille (Anthony) Maglio. Dear sister-in-law of Priscilla Nowakowski. Preceded in death by her siblings, Phyllis (the late Joseph) Vershay, Clara (the late Raymond) Kromraj and Frank Nowakowski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, other relatives and friends. Evelyn was a 1941 graduate of South Division High School. She was an employee of AT&T for 41 years and the Sacristan of St. Augustine Church for 20 years. Evelyn was a member of the St. Francis Ladies Guild, St. Joseph Women's Club, St. Augustine Ladies Society and the AT&T Pioneers. A special thank you to Evelyn's neighbors, the Zamora family for their help and concerns, especially Gerardo, her dedicated caregiver and best pal.
