Incredibly Independent!!

Passed away peacefully surrounded by friends After a brief illness and celebrating her 100th birthday with a Brewer game and fabulous party which she drove herself to. Born July 11, 1925 to parents Arthur and Agatha (Fabke) Wink in Milwaukee. Predeceased by brother Cyril (Lucy) Wink. She was raised in the Milwaukee area. Attended Mount Mary University, Business School, and Cardinal Stritch University with a BS in Education.

She was a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi for several years. After leaving the convent she taught in the Milwaukee Public Schools mostly in middle school.

Upon retirement she organized many trips to the Fireside Theater and received the Fireside Friendship Award. She loved gardening and received many Milwaukee Beautification awards for the beauty of her yard. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds. She had many dogs in her lifetime. She houses for various charity fund raisers. She drove an RV with a Jeep attached from May to October to meet fellow RVers to favorite RV Parks in Wisconsin. She loved to read, knit and crochet. She was an Associate of the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi where a tree and paver have been placed in her honor.

She is survived by nephews David and Carl (Christine), great nephews and niece and great great nephews and niece, cousins and numerous friends. Memorials to the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi.

Memorial Visitation Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 3635 South Kinnickinnic Avenue St. Francis. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
