Cherished husband of 58 years of Joy (nee Kasch) Much loved father of Gary (Debbie), Gwen (Gordy) Keno and Glory (Edward) Kobza. Adored grandfather of Sarah and Becki Keno and Alex and Casey Kobza. Eugene is also survived by 5 sisters, 1 brother, nieces, nephews, other family and many dear friends. Visitation TUES 4-7 PM at SOUTH MILWAUKEE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1327 Marshall Ave. Visitation also WED 12 Noon – 1PM at the church. Funeral Services at 1 PM. Military Honors and entombment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Gene was a very proud veteran of WWII serving his country in the U.S. Navy; he belonged to many WWII veterans' organizations including S.E. Chapter WWII Submarine Veterans. He was a former member of the South Milwaukee Police and Fire Commission, and was a former member of Tripoli Temple. The family would like to thank Dr. Margery Howard, the nurses and staffs of the Oncology Departments and Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinics at St. Luke's Medical Center and St. Luke's South Shore for their endless love, care and devotion to Gene.
