Obituary

Cherek, Ethel E. (nee Kleman) Ethel Eleanor Cherek was born on September 2, 1930 in the town of Reid, in Marathon County, Wisconsin to Frank J. Kleman and Helen (nee Rutkowski) Kleman and passed away on December 14, 2017. Beloved wife of Joseph L. Cherek and loving mother of Robert (Susan), Bruce (Debra), Brian (Melissa), Sandra (John Sullivan), Scott (Susan) and Joseph Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Elsie (Falkowski) and her brothers Clarence, Andrew, and Daniel. She is survived by her sister Evelyn (Marciniak) and her brother David. Ethel was a kind and compassionate woman who always put the needs of others above her own. No matter how many people were around the table for meal time, she always found room for one more, be it friend, relative or guest. She was famous for her homemade bread and rolls and her jars of pickles. Everyone that met her always commented about her gracious personality. She will be missed by all, but especially her family, who always knew how lucky were to have her in their lives. Memorial Visitation is to be FRIDAY, January 12 from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home. Memorial Service at 7 PM. Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Homes South Suburban Chapel 6080 South 27th Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin
