Cherished sister of Alice (Kenneth) Marshall and the late Aurora (Roman) Bruening, Carlos (the late Lena Mae) Chavez, Antonio Jr. (the late May) Chavez. Rudolph (the late Shirley) Chavez, Paul (Judy) Chavez, and Louis (Kathy) Chavez. Preceded in death by her husband Wayne and her parents Esther Delgado-Chavez and Antonio Chavez. Parnell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. Inurnment to follow Arlington Park Cemetery. Although she faced many trials in life, she was an example of strength, courage, generosity and faith. She leaves as her legacy the importance of love for family, friends, and living out faith by example. Esther was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis.
