Born to eternal life on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, age 82 years. Beloved husband for 60 years to Mary (nee Schilz). Loving father of Thomas (Barb), James (Bonnie), Debra (Frank) Guertin, Daniel (Diane), Michael (Diane) and Robert (Laura) Hofmann. Proud grandpa of Craig, Mikella, Brian (Jenny), Scott, Monique, Christina, Elizabeth, Shawn, Nicholas, Hayley, Katie, Sara, Carolyn, Marie, Trisha (Kelly), Bill, Emma (Bill), Tony and Jenny. Dearest great-grandpa of Elizabeth, Dustin, Niannah, Kainan, Angela and Christopher. Dear brother of Evelyn (Paul) Hasler and Gordon Hofmann. Further survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Erv was a retiree of Louis Allis and a bartender at the former Red Carpet Hotel.
