Borkovich, Emil A. "Borky"
Was called into God's arms on October 29, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Loving husband of the late Dorothy Borkovich (nee Pelkey) for 63 years. Cherished father to daughters Charlene (Richard) Wenzel and Stephanie (James) Jens. Proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dear friend to Eveline Katalinich who made him smile and enjoy the later years of his life. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Emil married his wife Dorothy while stationed in New York City in 1944 during WWII. Following the war, they returned to Wisconsin where they both worked and raised their two daughters. Emil was employed at Ladish Co. for over 30 years. Upon retirement, they moved to their lake home for the summer and enjoyed the sunshine of Arizona in winter.
Emil was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He taught his daughters how to ice skate, fish, cook and dance the waltz. He had a sense of humor and shared good times and much laughter with many special friends. For so many that knew and loved him, though apart, he'll always be in our hearts.
Visitation Friday, November 4th 9:30-11:00 AM at DIVINE MERCY PARISH 800 Marquette Avenue, South Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment and Military Honors Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
