(nee Krueger) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the age of 88. Elsie is survived by her beloved, caring and devoted husband of 68 years Thaddeus Palenski. Loving mom of Carmen (Rob) Musiel, Michael (Carol) Palenski, Denise (Mark) Simon, Kristin (Ken) Marquardt, Jeffrey Palenski and the late Brenda Palenski. Proud grandma of Erica Musiel, Matthew and Michael Jr. Palenski, Nicole and Hunter Simon. Great grandma of Theadore and Elijah Simon, and Silas Palenski. Sister of Rosemary Stanislawski. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Elsie was a very loving and caring wife and mother. She put her family's needs above her own. Everything her children could ask for was met and then some. Her home was immaculate and full of love. Her flower garden was beautiful and full of life. In her senior years, she and Thaddeus would spend the days "bummin' around town" enjoying each others company. The dinner conversations with the family would go on for what seemed like forever with lots of laughter, periodically reminding the children that the dishes needed to be done, followed by the family's favorite sitcoms and 9 PM Ice cream socials.
Elsie worked as a Buyer for "Dime Stores" on Mitchell St and at Sears. She then spent 5 years working at Allen-Bradley as an Assembler. Thaddeus and Elsie's first few years on Marriage, prior to having children, included multiple adventures traveling around the country to places like California and Florida.
