Riersgord, Elouise L. (nee Eads) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at St. Luke's Medical Center. She was born in Oakland, IL to Willis and Ina (Brading) Eads. In 1946, she married Leo E. Riersgord, and they became lifelong residents of Bay View. Preceded in death by her devoted husband Leo; beloved daughter Cynthia K. Schuette; sisters Elizabeth Wright and Miriam Christenson. She will be sadly missed for her gentle spirit and generosity by her daughter Deborah L. Halpin of Springfield, MA, her husband Michael and granddaughter MacKenzie. Elouise was especially close to Kristin Shane, daughter of Cynthia and her husband Jon. She was forever grateful for the love shown her by the Schuette family, Pat, Sandy, David and Lauren. Elouise also leaves behind other loving family members and dear friends. Elouise retired from Gimbels Department Store in 1987 after 25 years of service. She and Leo were lifetime members of the South Shore Yacht Club and Elouise was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She also was a communicant of the Lutheran Chapel of the Cross Church since 1953. Elouise enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards with friends and ushering at the Marcus Center for over 10 years. Visitation on THURS Dec. 17 at the LUTHERAN CHAPEL OF THE CROSS, 3353 S. Whitnall Ave., Milwaukee, from 10-11:30 AM. Funeral Service 11:30 AM. Entombment to follow Arlington Park Cemetery.
