Elaine Christine Walker

(nee Piotrowski), passed away peacefully on 7/18/24 at the age of 86. She will join into eternity with her husband "Bob", the love of her life for 58 years. She will join her parents Antoin Piotrowski and Christine Leszcynski as well as her sisters June Schultz, Joan Badzinski, and Nancy Swoboda. She leaves behind a sister, Carol Piotrowski. She will be deeply missed by her three children Bonnie, Robert (Valerie), and Mary Walker. She has four grandchildren Jacqueline (Mark) Formanek, Alexander (Shelly), Christina, and Joseph (Coty) whom she loves dearly along with her ten great-grandchildren. She leaves behind loving cousins Frank and Lynn Meizio and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine was a devout Catholic and loved the company of her dear friends from St. Paul's Parish where she looked forward to her "Tuesday gatherings." She enthusiastically attended Wilson Senior Center where she embraced quilting and often paid it forward by making a quilt for her loved ones. Elaine was a proud 37-year employee of JC Penny's. She loved Wisconsin and the Green Bay Packers. She could be seen weekly decked out in her green and gold jersey that read "You bet your dupa I'm a polish packer fan." In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in her name be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin or the National Federation for the Blind.

Memorial visitation Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 10 – 11 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1720 E. Norwich St. Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Private inurnment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
