Elaine Violet Heckman (nee Plitzner) passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born on November 9, 1931. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Viola Plitzner and her beloved husband, Ralph Heckman. Elaine was a volunteer for many years at Marcus Performing Arts Center, the Skylight Theater, Milwaukee County Zoo and the Wisconsin Humane Society where she made many friends. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and for many years enjoyed playing the hand bells at the church. Elaine loved doing "paint by number" pictures, cats being her favorite subject. She also made a home for several cats through the years. She was a Packers fan and watched every game. Elaine was loved and will be missed by her cousins, many friends and her church family.

Elaine's family would like to extend a special Thank You to Compassus Hospice for their loving care. The family will host a memorial service on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:30AM at MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 3450 S. 52nd St.. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church are appreciated.
