Obituary

Zuzelski, Edward George found peace on November 27, 2020, age 91. Ed is survived by his wife Genevieve (Jean)(nee Grabske); stepchildren Kathleen Harris (Roger), Rosemary Czerniejewski, Peter Larson (Cindy), and Joanne Gauthier (Chris); sister Joan Magnus (Bill). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.Ed was preceded in death by his mother and father Stanislaus and Anna (Lesniewski), in-laws John and Elinor Grabske; siblings Alice Becker (Bill) and Alvin Zuzelski; stepson-in-law, Don Czerniejewski.Ed was married to his sweet, Jean, for 33 years. A "confirmed bachelor" Ed found himself an instant family when he married Jean in 1987. They enjoyed traveling the world, Alaska, Hawaii and Rome to name a few, with his favorite spots in Colorado. Ed loved airplanes and spent many hours listening to the air traffic at Mitchell International. He even flew his own plane. He was an electrician and a proud member of IBEW Local 494 for over 65 years. He never missed an opportunity to point the buildings he worked on as he drove by. He was particularly proud of the work he did on Children's Hospital, Milwaukee.Anyone who knew Ed knew he was a Buick man. He took pride in keeping his yard immaculate - dandelions beware. He was quick with a joke and always ordered a "Michigan" on the rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's name to St Paul Catholic Church, Education Scholarship Fund, 1720 E. Norwich Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53207. A private burial was held at St. Adelbert's. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
