On December 23, 2017, Edward Jurkiewicz passed peacefully to the Lord at the age of 81. Edward was blessed with the love he found and shared with Barbara (Cathlina) for 11 years. Ed is preceded in death by his first wife Sunshine, Mary Elizabeth Power with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. Loving father of John (Sandra) Jurkiewicz, Laura (Mario) Alonzo, Suzanne (David) Robles, Elaine Rayne, Juliet (Craig) Shuler and Michael (Bonnie) Jurkiewicz. Loving step-father of Andy (Jory) Cathlina, Matt (Libby) Cathlina, Amy Cathlina (Enrique Rodriguez), Pam Cathlina and Phil (Laura) Cathlina. Cherished grandpa of 24 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Jack Jurkiewicz. Ed is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation at the Funeral Home WEDNESDAY, December 27, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00AM at THE CHURCH OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION 1023 E. Russell Avenue. Milwaukee. (Please meet directly at church at 9:45AM). Interment to follow Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
Ed worked for 37 years at Allen-Bradley as a machinist. He was a talented artist, creating exceptional oil pastels and handcrafted fine pipes under the name E. Andrew. He was an avid reader and student of history, studying English Literature at Marquette University.
