Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 5, 2017, age 59 years. Loving dad of Peter Helfenstein. Preceded in death by his parents, Milton Sr. and Hannelore Helfenstein. Dear brother of Rose Dillon, Ruth (Mike) Merrill, Peter (Marie) Helfenstein, Terry (Darryl) Domagalski and the late Milton (Amy) Helfenstein Jr. Further survived by other family members and friends. Ed was a retiree of the Harley Davidson Motor Company, a former employee of Briggs and Stratton and Kearney and Trucker. He loved riding his motorcycle; his dogs, Kaiser, Zina and Panzer and spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. Visitation at the Funeral Home Wednesday, August 9, 2017, 4:00-7:00 PM.
