Obituary

Foster, Edward L. "CAPT. ED" Tuesday, September 27, 2005 age 80 years. Beloved husband of Bettie (nee Darge). Dear father of Edward Jr. (Leslie) Foster. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Jessica and Jamie. Brother of Leonard Foster of Texas. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home FRI. 4-8 PM and SAT. after 9:45 AM. Funeral SAT. 10:30 AM to the CHURCH OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Capt. Ed held a U. S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Masters license for many years. He was also a permanent member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and a life member of the South Shore Yacht Club. He was on the Board of Directors at the Yacht Club from 1987-present. Capt.
