Edward retired from Allen-Bradley after over 30 years of service, where he was a charter member of the chorus and orchestra. He was a 32nd degree Shriner, Past Master at JM Rusk Lodge #259. Edward was a member of Ivahoe Commandry #24, WI Scottish Rite Bodies, Vega Chapter #760 ES, the Wilsonaires and many other groups.
