Obituary

Died peacefully Wednesday, April 22, 2009 just shy of his 79th birthday with his family at his side. Survived by wife Louise Tarnowski (New Brighton, MN) and daughters, Mary Anderson (Steven) of St. Paul, MN, Julie Tarnowski-Marks (Josh) of Louisville, CO; grandsons Christopher, Matthew, Michael, Isaac, Ethan and Nicholas; brother, Gerald (Patricia) of Pewaukee; sister, Rosalie Liebundgut (Clyde) of Sevierville, TN. Preceded in death by his parents John and Lydia. Survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Wayne and Barbara Kowalski; and Russell and Rosemary Tessler plus nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Earl Worked 39 years (1953-1992) on the Milwaukee Fire Department; he moved up the ranks and retired as a Captain; he was a member of the Air National Guard 128th Refueling Wing from 1950-1984. He was a member of AMVETS Post 61 and St. Paul's Catholic Church and participated in the Holy Name Society. He had a passion for family, golf and team sports up until the end. Visitation at the Funeral Home SUN April 26th 4-8 PM. Funeral Services MON 9:30 AM from the Funeral Home to St. Paul's Catholic Church, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.
