Obituary

Dwayne "Bob" Pasternak passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021, at the age of 60. Loving husband of 38 years to Sharon (Klescewski) Pasternak. Beloved son of the late Irene Talmont and brother to the late Todd Talmont. Dear grandson of the late John and Hazel Pasternak. Cherished uncle of Justin Nelson (Susannah Nelson) and Tyler Nelson (Kayln Selissen). Cherished great-uncle of Wyatt, Nora and Blair Nelson. Further survived by countless relatives, friends, and his furry companions from a far, Charlie and Gigi. Preceded in death by his furbaby, Lance. Born in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1961, Dwayne, known as Bob to those closest to him, honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring with a rank of Tech. Sgt. after 22 years as an Occupational Safety Specialist. His service continued with the 440th Airlift Wing and OSHA as a Safety Specialist until his retirement from civil service. Known for fierce loyalty, love for his family and friends, and the first person to "tell it like it is,". In his time off, he enjoyed working on his collection of classic cars, riding his Harley, and listening to classic rock as loud as possible - because that is how classic rock is meant to be played. His most cherished times were enjoying the sunset at the lake house with the love of his life, Sharon. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. The family would like to thank Dr. Shah, Tina, and the rest of the staff at Grace Clinic for their love and support and to thank the team at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital-MICU Floor for their care and compassion they showed Dwayne and the family during our time of need.
