Doyle W. Fonley

Sunday, February 5, 2023. Age 84 years. Beloved husband for 62 years of Marilyn (nee Ludwig). Cherished dad of Kim (Peter) Lentscher, Cheryl Fonley, Tammy (John) Meehan and Todd (Dan Vagle) Fonley. Loving grandpa of Brianna Meehan and Sean Meehan. Dear brother Dayle Fonley and Donny Fonley. Further survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family member and many friends.

Doyle was born and raised in Linn Grove, Iowa. His working career was spent coaching, teaching and concluding with Rain and Hail Insurance Company. In retirement he enjoyed golfing, traveling the world with his loving wife and siblings-in-law and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved sports, having played and coached football and no matter where he lived he remained loyal to the Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes.

His family would like to the thank the caregivers and staff at Elizabeth Residence in Franklin, WI and Badger Hospice.

Memorial visitation Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 10-11 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 7219 South 27th St. Franklin, WI. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
