Stys, Douglas J. Douglas John Stys, 68, passed away on September 16, 2018 while at his home in Milwaukee. Doug was born on January 6, 1950 to his parents, John and Grace (Gradecki) Stys. Doug graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1973 with a BS in Liberal Arts. Doug enjoyed watching the Brewers play, his cats Baby Girl and Alice, and taking trips to the Wisconsin Dells. In 2012, 2013, and 2014 Doug completed the Climb For Air in Milwaukee, successfully making it to the top; 47 floors and 1034 stairs. Doug is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Puliafito) Stys, sister Gail Stys, stepchildren Shawn Dean and Rebecca (Richard) Milhouse, along with his 4 grandchildren, Keagan, Gaven, Bentleigh, and Carter (Hurricane).
