Went to join his beloved wife, Margaret "Marge" (nee Karpinski), on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, age 85 years. Loving father of Linda (Dennis Halejak) Pinter-Krause, Doug (Nancy), Robert, Tom and Jim (Bev) Pinter. Proud grandpa of Ivy (Jamie) Leverence, Mandy (Doug) Tiede, Katie (fianc-Jason Paltzer) Pinter, Christopher "C.J.", Sonya Harry and Duane (Tiffany) Harry. Also survived by great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Doug was a retiree of PPG Industries after 43 years, and a U.S. Navy veteran during World War II.
