Found peace with our Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2011, age 53 years. Beloved husband, best friend and soul mate of Dell Marie (nee Wandrey). Proud father of Kevin D. (Ashley) Geis. Grandfather of Gabriel. Dearest son of Joanne and the late Warren Geis. Loving brother of Gary (Micki) and Dave (Pam) Geis. Fond brother-in-law of Doreen (Tim) Nehmer, Denise (Paul) Christensen and Dan (Amy) Wandrey. Son-in-law of Ronald (Ruth) and the late Claudette Wandrey. Caring uncle of Jeremy, Erin (fianc�-John Mann), Jake and Cassie Geis; Ashlee and Lindsay Wandrey; Tyler and Taylor Nehmer; Ryan and Jason Christensen. Also survived by other family and friends. Doug was an employee of the Milwaukee Public Library. He was a very proud alumnus of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. In keeping with Doug's wishes, at his death he was a proud organ donor. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of MICU at Froedtert Hospital, for the loving care given and caring support offered to both Doug and his family.
