Durant, Dorthe M. (nee Reif) Of Greenfield, Thursday, March 2, 2006, age 76 years. Beloved wife, best friend and soul mate for 51 years of the late Ralph W. Durant. Loving mother of Kimberly Bevel, Nelson (Jane) Durant and Kristen Durant (David Schultz). Proud grandma of Kaitlin, Daniel, Sara and Madeline. Dear daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda Reif. Loving sister of Donald (Marion) Reif, George (Bonnie) Reif, Richard Reif (Kristin Rauch), Michael (Beverly) Reif and the late David Reif. Dear daughter-in-law of the late Leona and Alvin Carlson. Fond sister-in-law of Rosemary Carlson, the late George (Lorraine) Durant and the late Eugene (Dorothy) Durant. Dorthe will be missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her adored cat, "Baby". Dorthe had an appreciation for antiques, cooking, gardening, reading, and classic old movies. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and pets. Throughout her illnesses, she never lost her sense of humor and optimism. Her perseverance was an inspiration to everyone.
