(nee Marcillis) Passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the age of 74. Loving mother of Trina Reynolds, the late Juan Reynolds, Anthoni Reynolds, DTaune Reynolds, Randall Reynolds, and Sandra (Isiah) Johnson. Mama Dorothy of Torrey Reynolds, Anthoni Reynolds-Parr, Lajuanda Reynolds, DTaune Ingram, Joseph Wood, and Dorothy J. Reynolds. Dear sister of Martha Palmer. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Classie Marcillis Sr. and Annie Cross, her siblings; Classie M. Marcillis Jr., and Alvin Moore. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Graveside services will be held on TUESDAY, January 29, 2019, at 1PM at VALHALLA MEMORIAL PARK 5402 N. 91st Street, Milwaukee. (Please meet directly inside the cemetery entrance at 12:45 PM.) Dorothy was a retiree of the Milwaukee Department of Corrections after 44 years of service. She earned her Masters Degree from Cardinal Stritch. Dorothys passion was always about reading and constantly learning new things. She also enjoyed playing instruments, acting, and she appeared in the film Give Me Liberty which will appear at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Lawlis Family Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Dorothy in her time of need. She will be dearly missed.
